Compare dedicated server resources
Dedicated hosting provides a server for your workload. Compare processor cores, memory, storage type and capacity, and the management service before selecting infrastructure.
Plan for administration and growth
Consider who will maintain the operating system, secure applications, manage backups and monitor performance. Check the selected plan's management scope and billing terms at checkout.
If you need fewer resources, compare VPS hosting. For standard websites, start with web hosting options.
Compare available plans
Confirm the included features, billing term, taxes and renewal pricing at checkout.
16-core dedicated servers: compare HDD and SSD.
Both of these self-managed listings specify an AMD EPYC 7351P processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, plus 256 GB of DDR4 RAM. The 256 GB figure is memory, not disk capacity. Their storage configurations differ:
- HDD configuration: 2 x 8 TB HDD drives in RAID-1.
- SSD configuration: 2 x 1 TB SSD drives in RAID-1.
Choose according to capacity and storage-response requirements. The HDD listing provides more raw disk capacity; the SSD listing may suit workloads where storage latency matters more. Actual application performance depends on the workload and configuration. RAID-1 mirrors the drives, so do not add both drive capacities together as usable storage. RAID is not a substitute for separate backups.
What does self-managed mean for your team?
Plan who will configure and patch the operating system, secure applications, monitor the server and maintain backups. Check the provider's exact support scope, operating-system options, licences, hosting region and network terms before ordering. A larger server does not remove those responsibilities.
Compare all managed and self-managed dedicated server plans, or send us your server requirements. The product cards and checkout show current prices and terms; this comparison does not change the selected configuration.
